Appalachian Equality Chorus

The Goal:

The goal was to rebrand and rename the Knoxville Gay Men's Chorus to reflect its inclusivity and broadened membership while honoring its legacy. Founded in 2012 as an all-gay-men chorus, it aimed to welcome the entire LGBTQIA+ community from southern Appalachia.

The Results:

Through a thorough discovery process, we developed a new identity as the Appalachian Equality Chorus, capturing the group's inclusive spirit. The rebrand led to increased event attendance and more performances booked across the Southeast, laying a strong foundation for future growth.
